She also holds the professional qualifications of MCIArb, London, (Fellow in view) and ACIS; and, in addition, she is a Fellow of the Institute of Construction Industry Arbitrators (FICIArb). Mrs. Kolade is the Managing Partner of Pembroke Chambers, a commercial Law Firm with offices in Lagos and Abuja, and specialized expertise in Environmental Law, Telecommunications Law, and Commercial Transactions. In all of these, Yinka has been involved in pertinent litigation at all levels and has provided consultancy.
Mrs. Kolade is very passionate about education and is actively involved in educational programmes nationally as either a trainer or curriculum developer for Institutions, such as the Nigeria Institute of Management, where she is also a scheme assessor in their Capacity and Learning Department. Mrs Kolade was a co-initiator in the establishment of the Lagos and Abuja Multi Door Courthouses, both dispute resolving court connected centres. She currently sits on the Governing Board of the Abuja Multi Door Courthouse.
She is a Certified Mediator of the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution, England (CEDR) since year 2004 and is accredited as a workplace dispute resolver by CEDR and MTI of the United States. She is a certified Trainer of the Standing Conference of Mediation Advocates (SCMA). She is on the Panel of Neutrals of The Lagos Multi-Door Courthouse and is also on the panel of Arbitrators of the Regional Centre for International Commercial Arbitration. She has served as a Consultant under the British Council’s J4A programme for capacity development and monitoring of its established dispute centres. Mrs. Kolade is a Member of the International Law Institute Washington.
